Growth and formation of the teacher's role in connection with participation in the pilgrimage

This bachelor's thesis, entitled Growth and formation of the teacher's role in connection with the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostelo, first deals with the concepts associated with the teacher's personality in the theoretical part. It describes the teacher as a profession, his position in society and what are the motives for choosing this particular profession. The work also describes the professional path of teachers. We can divide this path into beginner, experienced and conservative teacher. Another topic of this part is stress and the burnout syndrome, and the last chapter of the first part is dedicated to shaping the teacher's role and self-reflective professional development, which is connected to the term ALACT. The next chapter is dedicated to personal development, specifically self-knowledge and human being at this moment. The last chapter describes the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostela itself. In the beginning of this chapter are divided the possible routes that leads to Santiago de Compostelo. The following is a list of symbols associated with the journey, and there are also chapters on accommodation and motivation for the pilgrims. The empirical part of thesis is devoted to the analysis of the statements of three pilgrims who made the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostela. Before the pilgrimage jurney and also nowadays are teaching and they educate how their experiences and opinions changed during the jurney, through the qualitative research method of Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The research questions were: VO1: What was the difference in the approach to the teaching profession after completing the trip? VO2: How did your view of yourself change after completing the trip? VO3: What were the strong moments and experiences during the trip? VO4: In what areas did the trip affect the informant's life? The results give us an insight into the pilgrims' experience of completing the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostelo. They show us the clear changes experienced by the pilgrims as a result of completing the pilgrimage jurney. The most important changes took place within their profession as a teacher and family.
Perception of the issue of school discipline at the 2nd level of elementary school from the perspective of students and teachers

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of discipline and indiscipline of pupils in the 2nd grade of selected elementary schools. The goal of the work is to find out how discipline and non-discipline are viewed not only by the students themselves, but also by their teachers. In the theoretical part, basic terms are defined and discipline is described from the perspective of several important theories. The work focuses on the difference in the perception of discipline and indiscipline through the eyes of the main actors of the educational process, on current manifestations of indiscipline and its causes. The practical research part of the diploma thesis captures the results of the research and describes the differences in the perception of the issue of discipline by teachers and pupils of the 2nd grade of selected elementary schools. For this qualitative research, I used the semi- standardized interview method. The interviews took place face-to-face at two primary schools - Roztoky u Prahy, Kralupy nad Vltavou. Other interviews were obtained remotely through online interviews. Due to the smaller research sample, the results cannot be generalized, but they can be the beginning of a larger and longer-term research. Abstract The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the perception of the authority of teachers in secondary schools. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the concept of authority, the division of types of authorities, the comparison of authority at various levels of schools. It tries to describe the personality of the teacher and focuses on the relationship between students and secondary school teachers. In the theoretical part, I compared and analysed theoretical knowledge from various professional sources. The aim of the practical part is to find out how students at secondary vocational schools perceive the concept of authority in the secondary school environment, what they imagine behind it. What personalities of educators as bearers of authority they prefer and how they approach to them. I also focused on the view of students, how they look at the characteristics of teachers and the differences of opinions with respect to gender. Based on the collection of data from the questionnaire survey, evaluation, and analysis of data, I tried to propose recommendations for pedagogical practice. The research was carried out by a questionnaire, whose respondents were students at secondary vocational schools.
Cooperation with the family in the education of children at an early age

The dissertation is devoted to the reality of enrolling early children in kindergarten in the Czech Republic. The topic was examined from the perspective of key actors, ie parents and teachers, through research questions: What is the availability of early childhood education in the Czech Republic? What are the reasons for families to place early children in the kindergarten? What are the benefits of an early child attending kindergarten from the point of view of individual actors? What are the ways of communication and cooperation with the family from the point of view of individual actors? A questionnaire survey was used for data collection, in which took part 1 030 parents and 1 118 teachers from all over the Czech Republic. For a deeper understanding, the survey was supplemented by focus groups of parents and teachers. The obtained data were analyzed using open coding, constant comparison and simple descriptive statistics. The availability of education for early children is a burning issue in the Czech Republic. The issue of accessibility affects the view of its quality, at the same time it intersects into a wide range of identified reasons of families. The professional satisfaction of teachers during their careers

The diploma thesis deals with the professional satisfaction of selected teachers in the implementation of their teaching profession. The theoretical part characterizes the teaching profession in terms of historical development and current changes. This is followed by teacher preparation for the profession and the topic of professional satisfaction from an overall perspective. In the practical part, the professional satisfaction of specific teachers during their careers is examined using qualitative research. The research is based on semi-structured interviews with selected teachers at different stages of school practice. The research survey focuses mainly on the pros and cons of the teaching profession and the demands associated with the teaching profession.
Teachers burnout syndrome

Title: Burnout Syndrome among Teachers Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyse the burnout syndrome from the point of view of teachers who do not suffer from this syndrome. These teachers explain how they proceed to cope with a difficult period or different kinds of problems they are sometimes facing and how they manage to see their job as their personal fulfilment. Methods: The method used is Interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). Data were collected during semi-structured interviews with four respondents. These interviews were recorded on a phone, transcribed word by word and then analysed. Results: The most important topics that resulted from the answers of responding teachers are: 1) Students as the main purpose of the job, 2) Shift in the point of view as a solution to the problem, 3) On-line life, lack of time and disillusionment of teachers, 4) Personal characteristics as a determining factor for the selection of suitable subject. These topics were selected as main topics because they had a considerable impact on working practices of each teacher, which is evident from the analysis of their answers using the chosen method (IPA). Teacher's authority by mental disability children

Diploma thesis deal with topic of teacher's authority, specifically by pupils with mild mental retardation. Authority is polysemous term so it is impossible to limit it only for one definition but it is necessary to look at it as a process which is formed in a long-term interaction - in this thesis namely between teachers and pupils. In the theoretical part I pay attention to the term authority in a historical and modern point of view and also contexts authority with phenomenons as for example media or discipline. Shortly I mention personality of pupils with mild mental retardation and teacher's personality. Attention is also paid to communication with pupils, solving problems at school and relationship teacher - pupil. In the practical part I condukt a survey of this phenomenon using qualitative method of halfstructured dialogues. In order to it could be objectively assessed perception of authority by pupils with mild mental retardation it is necessary to compare (their) results with pupils without mild mental retardation, with whom were led discussions too. The role of the primary school teacher in creating a school classroom climate and his/her impact on school success

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the teacher's personality on the classroom climate and school success of pupils. The theoretical part deals with the three basic areas described in the individual chapters - the personality of the teacher, the classroom climate and its actors and components, and last but not least, school success. The topic of motivating pupils in teaching also corresponds to school success, especially at present. In the practical part, the thesis presents the results of qualitative research conducted in the third grade of primary school, which is very specific in its composition, the school itself includes a special program for exceptionally gifted students and currently also educates a large number of students with different mother tongue. In addition, students with specific learning disabilities also appear in the classroom. The three areas described in the theoretical part are mapped by the methods typical for qualitative research, participatory observation, through observation sheets of own production and inspired by scientific literature, and a semi-structured interview with the class teacher. Teacher professions from the point of view of pupils, parents and of teacher selected primary school

This diploma thesis brings information about the perception of the teaching profession by secondary school students, their parents, and teachers of a selected primary school. The aim of the work is to find out with the help of questionnaires, how pupils and their parents subjectively see and perceive teachers and how the teachers who teach pupils themselves see their profession as a teacher. In the theoretical part, I deal with the historical development of education and the teaching profession in our territory. I also deal with the characteristics of the teaching profession by clarifying the very concept, personality traits, and typology of the teacher's personality. This section also includes chapters on the competence of the teacher, his authority and motivation to choose the teaching profession. In the last part, I deal with the current form of the teaching profession in primary school, the requirements for the profession, and including selected problems of our education. Game as an ed educational tool in an interest education

The bachelor thesis deals with an influence of a game on a personality of a child in a younger pupilage while wrapped up in an interest education, especially enfluence of the game during activities with troubled children with special needs. The goal of thesis is to examine to what extend intentionaly pedagogically lead didacticly selected game can prevent problems that occur in integrating these children into the collective and also can be reduce with the game prove behavior their practicular handicap. It explores different posibilities of integration of the childrens in to our society by choice of sutable games, corresponding with the children age.
